All Levels
Designed to fit many levels. Some comfort with the basic breathing and alignment principles is recommended. The pace is slightly faster than a beginner class but many variations and modifications will be offered to meet the needs of all levels of students.
Holistic Body Works
Our Signature Class! This class will combine the essential elements of Yoga, Pilates, and Core Sculpting and Strengthening. The perfect way to start the week and burn off the weekend. Focusing on functional training, stability and overall wellness, this workout will inspire you and your fellow fitness peers to push each other to the next level. Working on specific areas of the body in 1 - 3 min segments will keep your body engaged and moving without the chance to lose awareness of the moment. This class takes an innovative approach into traditional strength and fitness programs. HBW combines all aspects of fitness including agility, balance, stability, strength, calisthenics, plyometrics and cardio exercises. A variety of equipment will be used. This is a HIGH energy class in which the student chooses her/his impact level, therefore customizing the sequences. Its important to bring: exercise (sneakers) shoes that cover the foot completely and can be tied, a towel (youŽll need it), a bottle of water, an open mind & great attitude. Be prepared to lose a layer of ego and sweat. Depending on the time of year, you may prefer to take a change of clothes.
Hot Flow Yoga
Hot Flow is a series of Hatha Yoga postures and breathing exercises conducted in a heated room (temps vary with seasons and amount of students in the room) to systematically warm, stretch and strengthen the major muscle groups. It works the body from the inside out, from the micro to the macro level. All internal organs and glands are stimulated, balancing the bodys natural chemical and hormonal levels. Much attention is given to the spine and this produces a profoundly beneficial effect on the nervous system. The heated environment reduces risk of injury and facilitates the release of bodily toxins.
You will want to bring water, a towel and you may even prefer to take along a change of clothes.
Level 1
A well-rounded yoga session, gentle enough for the newcomer and challenging enough for the experienced. New postures and breathing techniques are introduced and students develop at their own pace.
